1 mischevious puppy
+ 1 pen (where the hell did it come from!?)
= 1 hr of frantic cleaning and 1 skulking about the house puppy ( + 1 other smart dog who decided it was a good time to go lay out of the way)
We tell people all the time that one thing we appreciate about Oliver is that he brings us everything, and we always reward him no matter what it is ( usually socks, bottle caps, tufts of Mulligan's fur-the usual) and tonight, he brought us all kinds of things... the last of which was a BLACK LIQUID GEL PEN- chewed into bits, with black ink dripping on the floor (and a splash on the couch for good measure.) Did I mention that the chosen carpet color for these apartments is greyish white? (sub-rant- who the $!@# decided on that color for apartments that rent to dog owners?!?!)
1 hour later, we depleated the bottle of Nature's Miracle ( it's kind of a dog stain, right?) and 1 roll of papertowels, also used water and dawn detergent... and have replaced the ink stains with big wet spots - with faded inky spots in the middle.
3 days 'til vacation, 3 days 'til vacation, 3 days 'til vacation....
